Refrigerant R-454C

R-454C is an ultra-low GWP HFC/HFO refrigerant blend with a global warming potential below 150. As a result, it is not subject to the restrictions established by the current F-Gas Regulation (EU 2024/573) and is exempt from the Spanish fluorinated greenhouse gas tax. It is an excellent solution for commercial refrigeration, freezing applications and industrial refrigeration systems.
From a thermodynamic perspective, it offers cooling capacity comparable to R-404A while delivering improved energy efficiency. Classified as an A2L refrigerant, it requires equipment and charge limits specifically designed for mildly flammable refrigerants.
