Refrigerant R-470B (RS-51)

HIGH-SAFETY, LOW-GWP REPLACEMENT FOR R-404A AND R-507A
RS-51 is an HFC/HFO refrigerant blend developed to replace R-404A and R-507A with significantly lower global warming potential. It is a high-safety (A1), non-flammable and low-toxicity refrigerant that maintains cooling capacity and energy efficiency comparable to traditional refrigerants within the same category.
Its substantially reduced GWP also helps lower fluorinated gas taxation costs and supports compliance with sustainability targets.

RS-51 offers a balanced combination of safety, energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications. Developed as an alternative to refrigerants commonly used in chilled and frozen storage systems, it maintains similar performance levels while significantly lowering global warming potential. This helps reduce costs associated with fluorinated gas taxation and facilitates compliance with corporate environmental objectives. Its A1 classification makes it particularly suitable for installations requiring non-flammable refrigerants and high operational safety standards.
