R-455A

“R-455A is a refrigerant gas blend of HFCs and HFOs with an ultra-low GWP, below 150, which means it is not restricted by the current F-Gas regulation (2024/573) and is exempt from the Spanish fluorinated greenhouse gas tax. It is an excellent solution for commercial refrigeration systems (preservation and freezing) and industrial refrigeration.
From a thermodynamic perspective, it is a refrigerant with a similar capacity to R-404A and greater energy efficiency. In terms of safety, it is classified as an A2L refrigerant, requiring appropriate materials and charge levels for this type of safety classification.”
